This compact switch provides eight Plug & Play connections to small offices, working groups and department networks with 10/100/1000 Mbit. The Gigabit switch comes without fans and is thus optimal for use directly at the workplace.
The DGS-105 ensures rapid and continuous data transfers with speeds of up to 2000 Mbit/s (full duplex) as well as flow control in accordance with IEEE 802.3x. For time-critical applications, the desktop switch supports the 802.1p (QoS) protocol.
A robust metal housing protects the switch from external damage. For convenient and secure installation, the DGS-108 is also equipped with a wall mount and a slot for a Kensington security lock.
Switch with environmental awareness
The DGS-105 is equipped with the current D-Link Green technology and works on the Energy Efficient Ethernet standard (IEEE 802.3az EEE). Data will be transferred at the highest speed in the shortest possible time; the ports use power only during the transfer. If no data transfer is taking place, the ports automatically go into standby mode, where the energy consumption is almost 0 watts. In this way, companies reduce power consumption and save operating costs, without sacrificing performance and functionality.
