Thanks to its wooden case, the device offers an impressive sound experience. Over 25,000 web radio stations from all over the world as well as classic FM stations can be received via the DR 471. Via DLNA home networking and the free app & bdquo, AirMusic Control, the Albrecht DR471 becomes a smart speaker: music or radio plays in the best digital sound quality from the smartphone or tablet PC via the radio. The radio control itself is also enabled via the app. Using the & bdquo, Universal Plug and Play, (UPnP) function, the DR 471 is coupled to the PC if desired. Media released for playback on the computer can then be selected on the display and played over the Internet radio.
